We have a number of opportunities for Part-Time Waking Night Support Workers in Cornwall, within the Camborne, Hayle, St Austell, Newquay, Helston, Grampound and Redruth areas.

You will be working within a residential home for adults with autism and associated conditions. Your role will include:

- Assisting with evening and morning routines
- Supporting and supervising service users throughout the night, which may include personal care
- Helping to maintain a positive, safe and secure environment
- Detailed recording and reporting
- Administering medication
- Keyworking
- Positive behaviour support / managing challenging behaviour in line with behaviour management programmes and training in PBM

We have 20 or 30 hour contracts available, working night shifts from 10pm - 8am, with alternate weekends.

Pay rate for this role is £9 per hour on weekdays, and £10.56 per hour on weekends. Benefits include:

To apply for this role you will need to have previous experience in the care sector, ideally with individuals with autism or have some knowledge in this area.
A qualification in Health and Social Care would be highly desirable but not essential, as you will be supported to achieve this in your role.
A full UK driving licence would be a distinct advantage.
