Projects Manager - Association of Colleges (AoC)
We are looking for a talented and motivated Projects Manager to join the central projects team to manage a wide portfolio of projects and programmes. You will be given autonomy to work on your own initiative within a collaborative team environment. You will be given the opportunity to deliver projects that make a positive difference to the further education sector.
As a Projects Manager you will be accountable for the safe delivery to time, budget and quality of a portfolio of projects.
To be successful you will need to demonstrate an experience of project management, including budget management, managing funder relationships, stakeholder engagement, strong organisation and time management skills, accuracy and strong attention to detail are essential skills and attributes together with a positive approach to problem solving.
It is important to have the ability to relate to our customers, clients, funders and other stakeholders. You will also be an effective communicator and use your excellent written and verbal communication skills appropriately with people at all levels.
This role would suit anyone who is seeking to further their career within project management or already has 2 years’ experience in a projects support role. Having the additional ability of successful writing for funding applications would be a bonus.
