Flourish Education are working with a popular primary school situated in Great Barr who are looking for an Early Years teacher to join their staff team. The role is to cover maternity and you will initially be based in the Reception class. The school are looking for the right teacher to start with them as soon as possible, and the role is due to last until at least Christmas.

The school has a Good Ofsted rating in which they have been praised for the behaviour and attitude of children in the school. They are keen to learn and high standards of teaching and learning are upheld throughout the year groups.

This Reception Teacher position requires:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* NQT’s are welcome to apply
* Excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
* High expectations of children
* Excellent recent teaching references


The successful candidate will be based initially in Reception class and responsible for ensuring a smooth transition for the children in to KS1. You will have excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and be able to plan and deliver exciting and engaging lessons.

The school is looking for a hands-on, proactive teacher who is committed to maintaining the already high standards set by the school. You will be responsible for the management of a teaching assistant in the class and utilise them effectively.
