Redwood search are delighted to be working with a Redditch based Accounts practice on a new Bookkeeper / Payroll support role which has arisen through growth.

The main duties of the position are to include:

- The main purpose of this role is to assist the Payroll & Bookkeeping team in the accurate processing of the clients’ Bookkeeping.
- To assist with accurate processing and efficient client payroll from start to finish manually and on SAGE.
- To gain and demonstrate an understanding of the principles of Bookkeeping
- To process client’s financial data using Sage 50 and other digital software
- To assist in clearing routine client queries.
- To check own work and correct obvious errors before handing work to a manager
- To work well as part of a team providing an excellent client service, maintaining a professional image.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a bookkeeper and have strong communication skills when speaking with both clients and colleagues. You will be a team player, who is happy to help with any duties that may arise.
