PART TIME FINANCIAL CONTROLLER - 22 hours per week – preferably qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant. Part qualified and qualified by experience candidates will also be considered with the relevant experience. This position is based in West Hull and will be undertaken on a 12 months fixed term contract.

THE ROLE
Assisting the Head of Finance, the successful candidate will undertake a wide variety of duties including:
- Implementing a new version of Sage accounting and providing training for the users
- Develop financial reports and support the FD in month end closure process, VAT and produce the monthly management accounts
- Monitor new budget forecast tool and assist with the preparation of the annual accounts
- Capital reporting, fixed asset register
- Assist the finance director with the procurement process and maintain the contacts register
- Various ad hoc duties and projects as and when required
- This is a 12 month fixed term contract

THE CANDIDATE
- You will be a preferably qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant with excellent skills in diplomacy and communication, looking to work 22 hours per week either three full days or 4-5 shortened days
- You need to have good knowledge of Sage systems and the ability to support others through the implementation of a revised version

THE COMPANY
Our client is based in West Hull and is in the education sector. There is a good public transport link close by combined with good road access to the city centre, A63 and Humber Bridge, Beverley and west Hull villages.

THE BENEFITS:
22 hours per week offering flexibility of 3 full days or shortened 4/5 days
£15 - £17 per hour depending on experience and level of qualification
12 months fixed term contract
