Friendly Chester Practice seeking a Personal Tax Senior to join their team to support the Tax Partner


Your new company
You will be joining a reputable two director Practice based in Chester. They pride themselves upon providing a high quality service for their clients, and as a result of growth they are now seeking a Personal Tax Senior on either a full time or part time basis to join their team and be heavily involved in compliance work for a portfolio of clients and help support the Tax Partner.

Your new role
Your new role will involve you assisting the Tax Partner as well as managing a portfolio of Personal tax clients and you will prominently be responsible for the filing and submission of personal tax returns. Depending your previous experience you may have an involvement in tax planning and advisory work as you establish yourself in the firm. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the client relationship and liaising with clients and HMRC via various means in regards to tax matters when required.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this role you will have experience of working with an accountancy practice in a similar personal tax role. Ideally you will be ATT qualified or part-qualified with experience of managing your own portfolio of clients, as well as previous experience of dealing with tax compliance. This role will involve liaising with clients via email, telephone and face to face and being the main point of contact between the client and HMRC therefore candidates with client facing experience will be looked upon favourably. Ideally you will live locally to this Chester based job.

What you'll get in return
In return the firm are looking to provide a highly competitive salary of up to £25,000 dependent upon previous experience, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays as well as sociable working hours of 9 till 5pm with an hour for lunch.
