Chef Supervisor - South Essex College
We are looking for a chef to strengthen our commercial catering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with fresh ingredients in a busy kitchen providing amazing food and a quality service to staff, students and external customers.
Candidates must be organised and work well under pressure. You must have a flexible approach to meet the needs of the service and have experience of working in a similar food service environment, catering to a number of dietary needs. Experience of working within a cooked to order ticket style service is essential and a Level 3 cookery qualification and a Level 2 Food Safety qualification are desirable but a desire to achieve the necessary qualifications will be considered.
The role is for 37 hours per week between the hours of 7am to 10pm and will be on a 5 day out of 7 shift basis, although usual working hours are 7.30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
