An Early Years Foundation Stage teaching post has become available within an infant school in the Ilkeston area of Derbyshire: Full time, April 2018 - July 2018 (Maternity Cover).

This OFSTED rated ‘Good’ school is a larger than average primary school, based near Ilkeston, Derbyshire - which offers full-time education for Reception children and part-time education for Nursery children.

Due to maternity leave, the school are seeking an experienced team player (NQT’s also welcome to apply) to join their happy and effective team of EYFS teachers from April 2018 on a full time temporary basis. This post is expected to continue until at least July 2018.

Under the leadership of an effective and supportive head teacher/senior leaders and governors, this school has successfully proven its ability to provide quality teaching and learning opportunities, and OFSTED judge teaching to be good; with pupils making good progress in reading, writing and mathematics and in a wide range of other subjects. As such, the successful applicant will benefit from working alongside a supportive and effective team of staff, who are proud of their achievements. OFSTED judged that behaviour is good, attendance has improved, and pupils enjoy coming to school.

From the time they start in the Nursery, children learn to listen to, care for and respect others, and they understand why there have to be some simple rules so that everyone can work well together and be happy. If you are keen to work as part of an effective, welcoming and supportive team of staff - within an OFSTED rated Good school, with children who behave well and are making good progress, please apply with your CV.
