Our client is an established financial planning business based in Summertown in Oxford wishing to hire a Paraplanner.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience working in an IFA-type environment as a paraplanner and must hold a minimum of DipFA qualified (or equivalent). Ideally, they should have experience of working within the St. James's Place Wealth Management Partner network.
Providing paraplanning and technical support to advisors, duties will consist of liaising with advisors using info from the fact find, ceding scheme information, soft facts and regulatory rules to prepare analysis reports to deliver initial advice & prepare suitability reports, to assist and speed up the pension transfer advisory process to complete more transactions
Skills & Duties Required
Technical report writing
Prepare suitability letters
Preparing business for submission
General Paraplanner duties
Be familiar with Pension Transfer Analysis systems i.e. critical yield calculators
Liaising with clients
Computer record keeping using the specialised client record management system
Must be able to work under pressure of deadlines
Strong data analysis skills and attention to detail
Strong Word and Excel skills
The role offers
9 am to 5 pm full-time though candidates wishing to work part-time will also be considered
Option to work from home following the induction period
20 days holiday, increasing to 25 with service plus Bank holidays
Salary negotiable based on experience
