This position offers the successful candidate a fantastic opportunity to join the team at one of our luxury residential care homes, Grimston Court, set in secluded private grounds on the outskirts of York. This impressive manor house was built in 1903 for Sir John Hunt by esteemed local architect Walter Brierley. A Grade II listed building of considerable historical value, we are extremely proud to maintain this grand Jacobean-style country home to the highest standards.

Due to the location of Grimston Court, ideally candidates with a driving license and access to a car is preferable. However, there may be opportunities for car sharing with current staff.

The role

Night Shift - You will be assisting vulnerable adults to bed and up in the morning, regular night checks, pad changes, bed changes, personal care. There will be some cleaning involved and report writing.

Day Shift - You will be assisting vulnerable adults with personal care tasks such as bathing, feeding, dressing, etc. as well as being involved in undertaking household tasks such as housework, serving food, assisting residents to community visits.

  • Flexible to cover shifts when required – Our homes operate 7 days per week, 365 days per year
