Our client currently owns and operate 4 care homes located in York and Leeds with another 4 likely to be opening in the next 2 years. They are passionate about delivering high quality care in prime desirable locations. They are now looking to recruit a part time Credit Controller to ensure the timely payment of care fees.
Your New Role
Communicating with care funders, including residents, family of residents and public sector bodies to ensure prompt payment of care fees
Resolution of contractual and billing issues which may be holding up prompt payment
Maintaining accurate records of payments, allocations and chasing activity
Be proactive in identifying debts at risk and chasing to conclusion
Large account reconciliations
Respond to both external and internal enquiries

You will have excellent customer service skills including the ability to communicate clearly with people often at sensitive times. You will have the ability to understand contracts and the impact on billing and payment.This role is being offered on a part time basis, salary guide £23000 pro rata
