Outreach Support Worker
Now recruiting Bank Staff to work on emergency as well as planned shifts. Working with children, young people and families from all types of care backgrounds.
We are looking for candidates who can display a range of skills and are able to communicate with people of all ages. You will need to be confident in your abilities to support young people with a range of needs. We don't expect you to take on all work offered but you must have some flexibility in order to take on shifts.
Shifts can vary between supervision, contact with a family or simply driving young people to school as well as many other types of outreach work. You will need a full drivers license and business insurance on your vehicle (if you have access to one).
Unplanned work will be paid at a minimum of £11 an hour although in certain circumstances this can change to a higher figure. Travel time will often be offered at the same rate. All mileage and any expenses are paid for. Planned work at our residential units is also available but at a lower rate.
The role entails being part of our bank staff, understanding that hours will be inconsistent and that job opportunities can come last minute. You will be kept on our books permanently and contacted for work when this arises. There are always part time and full time contracts available. This is your chance to work across a variety of care sectors with huge variety in every shift.
