Are you looking for a fulfilling role in care, working with customers and helping them stay independent, in their own homes?

We are looking for full-time and part-time rapid response care assistants, with or without care experience, to work early shifts (approx 7am – 2.30pm) and/or back shifts (approx 4pm – 11pm), four days on and four days off, in the Wishaw area. The work is scheduled on a relief basis, covering annual leave, sickness and handed back hours, to help customers whose regular care assistant isn’t available.

We’ll train and support you, so you can confidently deliver a great service. You will need to be a driver with access to a car, to travel between customers and we either pay 18p per mile to cover this, or we offer a pool car, where available. We welcome existing or friends double up teams, for our two-handed care worker customers.

You’ll be helping your customers with personal care, such as;

Getting up and ready for the dayWashingDressingBathingToiletingGetting ready for bedAnd practical tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, tidying, meal preparation and cooking, doctor’s appointments and shopping.

You’ll be fully supported with practical help from our friendly office based teams and free training and supervision, to help you confidently deliver care. This role is subject to a DBS check and you will need to provide proof of a full UK driving licence and your right to reside and work in the UK.
