LOCATION: Sidcup, Kent & Field Based

JOB TITLE: New Business Development Manager

SALARY & BENEFITS: Competitive basic salary with an OTE of £100,000 + car allowance, fuel & commission

WORKING HOURS: Full time 40 hours per week

THE COMPANY: We are currently working with with an industry leading telecoms solution for businesses across the UK. They have built a reputation for delivering bespoke yet cost effective voice and data solutions to meet the varied needs of customers, from SMEs to large corporates and organisations. Due to continued success they are now looking for a confident a New Business Development Manager to join the team.

THE ROLE: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experiences field sales professional to join the team and help expand the business and grow sales in a competitive market. This position will help to further and enhance your career within one of the UK's fastest growing Telecoms companies.

Key Responsibilities for the New Business Development Manager role to include:-

• Sourcing, researching and prospecting new business opportunities
• Understanding potential client's business communications requirements
• Being able to manage and create a sales pipeline
• Developing and following up on existing leads
• Writing proposals and preparing quotations
• Leading presentations and demonstrations to clients
• Qualify opportunities
• Providing support, information and guidance to clients
• Attend events/exhibitions as required and actively participate in Industry events
• Selling our portfolio of products into new customers - this is a new business role only
• The successful candidate will be expected to sit an agreed number of customer facing appointments per week.

THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will need to be a confident seller and have exceptional communication skills. You will be self motivated and target driven along with being able to provide a high level of support to customers. Ideally you will have proven sales experience within telecoms or have a knowledge of phone systems including Hosted & VOIP, however this is not essential and full training will be given.

Key experience essential for the role of the New Business Development Manager :-

• Experience within Telecoms, IT or Copier sales
• Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Live within a commutable distance to Sidcup, Kent and surrounding areas
• Willing to work throughout the UK to suit clients needs
