Could you support people with learning disabilities, helping them live more independently?

We have recently opened a new Supported Living service in Edenbridge and are now recruiting for full-time (38 hpw) and part-time (various) Support Workers.

Why not join us from the beginning as we build our new team?

About the role

The new service will consist of eight self-contained flats, which will be home to people who have a range of learning disabilities. You will assist the people we support to live as independently as possible, encouraging them to learn new skills such as shopping, cooking and understanding money. You will join in with their favourite pastimes and hobbies, helping them be active members of their local community and keep up with family and friends.

You'll take your turn working shifts on a rota, including days, evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins.

What we need from you

Experience is not necessary, as we provide a full induction and free training programme. People join us from many different backgrounds, it's more important to us that you have a positive approach and are willing to learn.

Who are we?

Salaries are dependent on successful completion of a 6 month probation period. Part time positions paid are pro rata.

Next Steps...

We will be shortlisting and interviewing over the next couple of weeks as we continue to staff this service; so why not get your application in now?
