Accounts Administrator (temporary/fixed contract)

Due to rapid expansion, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced accounts administrator to join an established and well respected global aerospace distributor of welding and brazing materials in Loughborough. The initial employment will be on a fixed-term basis of one year with a possibility of becoming permanent. Applications from part-time candidates are encouraged.
The successful candidate will need to have:
Experience of SAGE, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Experience of multi-currency bank accounts and invoicing would be a distinct advantage
Accounts Payable experience including matching invoices to goods inwards logs, reconciling to purchase orders and supplier statements. Preparing payment schedules, making payments and sending out remittances.
All aspects of credit control from accessing bank receipts, allocating payments, sending out statements to progressing overdue accounts by both verbal and written communication. Maintaining credit limits.
You will need to have excellent communication skills as well as the ability to organise and prioritise your workload
The successful candidate will be required to:
Provide clerical support to the Financial Controller
Whilst working closely with the Financial Controller must be able and comfortable to work unsupervised.
Ad-hoc purchasing and maintenance of office contracts
EEC sales statistics/ Intrastat.
