Office Assistant – Maternity Cover
£7.83 per hour
Hours – 8.30am-5.30pm Monday to Friday with one hour for lunch

Gap Personnel operating as a recruitment agency is looking for an Office assistant for a world wide leading distributor based in Yeovil.

The purpose of this role is to assist with the processing of different administrative tasks on a daily basis in a busy section of the accounts team and warehouse

Main duties
BACS/ cheques: inputting BACS / Cheque receipts onto sage system, and provide reports for credit control department
Credit control remittances: printing the remits from emails, maintaining remits,
Credit control copy invoice requests replying to copy invoice requests from customers by sending them invoice / credit note they require
Incoming and outgoing post, including completing the order on royal mail online and keeping up to date with the postal spreadsheet
Ordering stationary and other consumables
Preparing starter packs, temp packs for warehouse employees
Carry out other tasks that may be reasonably signed
