This vacancy is being advertised by Red Recruitment 24/7 who are acting in the capacity of an employment agency. Our client, based in Scunthorpe is seeking a part time HR and Payroll assistant for a one year contract to cover a period of maternity Leave.

The Role:

• Weekly processing of payroll including overtime, statutory payment and holiday calculations
• Processing of payroll correspondence and prepare and maintain payroll files
• Resolve employee payroll queries
• Produce a variety of payroll reports
• Produce HR correspondence including employment contracts, job offer letters and all other HR letters as requested
• Monitor employee absence
• Provide HR support to the management team during probationary, disciplinary and grievance procedures
• Maintain employee data in compliance with new GDPR rules
• Assist with review and development of HR policies
• Support the recruitment process, including advertising, interviewing, selection and developing job descriptions

The Candidate:

• You will have previous experience of working within a HR role along with experience of running a weekly payroll system.

• Good organisational and IT skills are essential with the ability to manage several tasks at once.

• Be a good team player and able to work with own initiative

• You must be available to start work at the latest in May 2018 and ideally before

• Usual working hours will be 25 hours per week, over 5 days (Some flexibility can be offered here however)
