Based at our head office in Bristol city centre, you will join our bid team in coordinating bids for our Quality Assurance Solutions business. Working closely with colleagues from across QAS, you will provide a full bid coordination service, ensuring high quality output, timely submissions and the ongoing review and improvement of the bid process.
You will coordinate the end-to-end delivery of the bid response, from bid qualification through to contract signature. Responses will encompass EOIs, PQQs, and ITTs, and will require input from teams in the UK and around the world.
Working alongside the Head of Business Development, you will coordinate the activities required to deliver winning bids - including identifying appropriate opportunities to bid, coordinating meetings and workshops, developing the bid response and managing information relating to risks, issues and dependencies.
You will ensure that relevant Bid Governance processes are followed and will maintain up to date and accurate records of all opportunities in our Customer Relationship Management system.
Along with a good level of education and experience in a bid coordination or management role, preferably in a public-sector procurement environment, you will be an effective self-starter with excellent time management, organisation, problem-solving and prioritisation skills.
You will have strong written and verbal communication skills and a knack for distilling complex information into key messages to produce focused bid responses.
Any familiarity with the education sector and/or experience of bidding in North America, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific is an advantage but by no means essential.
You will have a friendly, flexible and proactive approach, as well as the determination and drive to succeed in a busy, fast-paced environment. Your commercial awareness and strong sector knowledge will contribute to your success in this role.
You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and will be comfortable learning and using new software tools in support of the role.
Your strong project management and planning skills, along with your meticulous attention to detail, will ensure that you are able to meet deadlines whilst producing work of the highest quality.
