Lottery Development Administrator

Permanent: 15 hours per week over 3 days, to include Thursday and Friday. A flexible working pattern will be discussed at interview.

Pay: £17,203 Pro Rata plus contributory pension scheme.

St Barnabas Hospice is a local independent charity caring for over 4,500 people a year who are living with a life-limiting or terminal illness, and their family and carers. Services are provided free of charge by our specialist health professionals, staff and volunteers. Our fundraising teams are crucial for the provision of these services.

We are looking for a Lottery Development Administrator to join our successful Lottery team based in Lincoln.

Are you a confident, enthusiastic, organised and self-motivated administrator with an eye for detail and great people skills?

You will work with the Lottery Manager to develop and administer our fundraising products including the weekly Lottery, gift memberships, scratch cards and raffles. You will also work alongside the Lottery Administrator to carry out the admin processes required to run our weekly Lottery draw.

Availability to work additional paid hours to cover busy periods, holidays and unplanned absence, and a current, full, UK driving licence with use of a vehicle are requirements of this position.

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will have experience working in a customer focused environment, be a user of social media platforms, have confident IT skills and will enjoy a mix of office based work and being out and about meeting people. Experience using a ‘customer relationship management’ type database will be an advantage.

In order to be successful in this role you will have the ability to work independently, produce accurate work to deadlines and targets, and confidently engage with team colleagues, the wider St Barnabas organisation, supporters, members of the public and local businesses, face to face and by telephone and email.
