Learning Partnerships is a highly recognised, successful Leeds based charity with over 25 years of experience working in deprived areas of the city to provide opportunities and support for children, young people and adults to access education, employment, training and volunteering.

We are currently seeking to appoint 3 Stronger Families Key Workers:

1 x Full Time 37 hours per week

Actual salary: £22,360 (pay review pending)

Fixed term contract to 30th November 2018 (maternity leave cover)

1 x Full Time 37 hours per week

Actual salary: £22,360 (pay review pending)

Fixed term contract to 31st May 2019 (possible extension)

1 x Part Time 18.5 hours per week

(working days Wednesday pm, Thursday and Friday)

Actual Salary £11,180 (pay review pending)

Fixed Term to 31st May 2019 (possible extension)

Stronger Families is jointly funded by The Big Lottery Fund and the European Social Investment Fund. Its aim is to promote social inclusion and builds on lessons learnt from the Think Family, ESF Families with Multiple Needs, and Troubled Families programmes.

Learning Partnerships are sub-contracted to manage a team of key workers who will provide early intervention support to identified families with the aim of preventing anti-social behaviour, police involvement, possible criminal records and/or children being excluded from school. Promoting social inclusion and helping remove possible barriers supporting the families move closer to the job market and/or gain sustainable employment.

We are looking to recruit 3 Key Workers to join our existing team, who:

  • Are skilled in recognising and addressing multiple barriers to employment and have experience in this area of work.
  • Has significant experience in assessing and planning interventions for families facing multiple barriers to employment with positive outcomes
  • Has the skills to use restorative approaches to help improve the lives of local families and support individuals back to work
  • Has the ability to co-ordinate and manage a caseload and monitor, report and record accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with the roles’ requirements.
