The Holiday Inn Express London Wimbledon South is a franchise of the Intercontinental Hotel group. In 2012, Hotel completed a £4.5 million refurbishment and extension. Because of this we have increased our bedrooms from 83 to 139. Hotel is superbly located opposite to Colliers Wood tube station on Northern line and has 139 bedrooms & 4 meeting rooms.
Responsible for the hotel’s operations and specifically the Front Office Reception Team and functions, as well as Bar and Meeting rooms.
Training staff in the front office system and ensuring they deliver the brand standards.
Ensuring the reservations and business mix are maximising room revenue.
You will also be involved in taking Conference bookings for our 4 meeting rooms, issuing weekly conference sheets and function sheets, ledger bills and group bookings.
Applicants will be experienced in hotel reception skills and customer quality service and be ready to take on more responsibility. Must be confident handling customers and problem solving and ideally have supervised staff before.
Provide cover for the Night Reception during holiday and sickness periods (Night shift working).
Provide assistance and guidance on the front office systems and operations (Brilliant and Holidex)
Other duties may be required to be carried out throughout the duration of your shift.
