We are an established nursery in Shirley rated Good by Ofsted, looking to recruit competent and enthusiastic nursery nurse practitioners to complement and enhance our existing long-standing team. THIS ROLE IS A PART TIME ROLE Tuesday - Thursday, although we are flexible so please dont hesitate to contact us if you wish to discuss further. We are based a minute off the main bus route, the setting is nestled in a countryside setting surrounded by open space fields and provides a perfect environment for children to develop and have fun. The role will involve: being assigned a key group of children, completing planning, setting up activities and supporting children in their own independent play, completing observations and assessments in line with the EYFS, liaising with parents regarding their child\'s development, ensuring a clean and safe environment at all times and ensuring that the children in your care are continually given interesting learning experiences and opportunities in line with their individual needs. We are seeking Nursery Nurse practitioners with a minimum level 3 in childcare and ideally some post qualifying experience. Candidates must be confident in their ability to work with a group of children all whom may be new to the provision. The role would suit someone who is very confident in their ability to provide high levels of childcare and put the children at the centre of their focus, continually looking for new ideas and ways to evoke curiosity within the children as well as staying abreast of new ways of working with young children. You must: - hold a level 3 or equivalent in childcare - Have some work experience within a nursery environment - Be confident and proactive in the role of a key person - Possess excellent knowledge of the EYFS - Fully understand safeguarding responsibilities - Possess excellent communication and written skills - Be passionate about providing the highest quality of childcare possible - The ability to work on own initiative but also within a large team If successful, an enhanced DBS will be completed unless the applicant is already subscribed to the DBS update service and references will be required.
