We are currently recruiting for a part time Undergraduate Programme Administrator to work within a higher education organization

The post holder is a member of a team within the College's academic administration providing support for Undergraduate (UG) programmes. The post holder will be expected to work with the Programme Administrators in the administration of programme organisation, learning support, student liaison, record keeping, timetabling, assessment and examinations.

The Programme Administration Team across the College are front line staff and therefore have an essential role to play in providing excellent customer service particularly to the student population. They are also the key contact for supporting academic staff and as front line staff they are required to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a professional, friendly and approachable attitude.

To assist the Programme Administrators with enquiries either written, email, telephone or in person from students, alumni, staff or applicants to ensure they are replied to both accurately and helpfully.

Being part of the team which provides students with an initial point of contact for domestic, welfare and programme matters and assisting them wherever possible or guiding/referring them to the correct contact point.

To assist the Programme Administrators with inputting, updating, amending and monitoring School student data. This may involve using a variety of computer based applications such as outlook, word, excel and the in house student record system

To assist when necessary with ensuring that student assessed work is dealt with to the necessary timescales. Co-ordinating the return of marked work to students and the recording of marks and supporting documentation. This will involve inputting of marks onto BIRMS and writing to students or tutors if work is missing

To carry out programme and course registration checks in conjunction with the Academic Office throughout the year when necessary.

Assisting the Programme Administrators with updating and distributing material (including web based materials via Canvas) for the programme packs and induction courses.

This might involve preparing module outlines, handbooks and course materials.

Assisting the Programme Administrators with complex enquiries.

Assisting with the record keeping of progress reviews, highlighting problems and chasing staff/students for missing reviews when necessary.

Assist the Programme Administrators with timetabling and with solving problems regarding double booked rooms, moving lectures and finding new rooms.

Assisting with the examinations process involving preparing exam papers, collecting and distribution of exam scripts, checking scripts have been logged and received, sorting out scripts for external examiners and in conjunction with the Programme Administrators ensuring relevant documentation is ready for exam boards.

To assist with producing, distributing and scanning module evaluation feedback forms

You will be required to work on Monday and Tuesdays
