My client, a national children's charity, are looking for a part-time Business Support Officer for an immediately starting temp role. This position will be based in Bury. The purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive management of administrative services to the Area Director of the North of England. The role will involve: To manage the administrative, diary and communications for the Area Director.To effectively communicate with a wide range of stake holders.To provide full administrative support for meetings. This includes agenda setting, preparation of papers, room arrangements, minute taking etc.To collate information, draft papers, or produce reports on behalf of the Area Director.To research and project manage specific issues and prepare papers or presentations on behalf of the Area Director.To accurately record expenditure and monitor the Area Director's budget. The ideal candidate will have: Experience in office management and administration, operating at the highest levels.Excellent organisational skills, working in complex and demanding environments.Excellent communication skills, including inter-personal communication, writing and telephone management.Excellent project management skills and a completer-finisher approach.Proven minute-taking skills. Shorthand would be an advantage.Advanced IT skills in word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint and email. Experience in project management software would be an advantage.
