About the Role

Reporting to the Investment Director, you will be responsible for underwriting and transaction management of new co-living opportunities and the investment management activities for the existing projects. The investment team of The Collective plays a key role in driving the fast growth of the firm in UK, Continental Europe and U.S., and this role would not only grow your real estate investment experience, but also provide you a platform to participate in one of the fastest growing sectors of real estate. The Collective has developed and delivered the world’s largest co-living building in 2016, and has a total AUM north of £700m. The Collective also boasts a young and energetic team where people have a true passion for what they do.

Key Responsibilities
·Build complex dynamic financial models to analyse land and property investment opportunities (reviewing investment structures and specific assets using financial models and a variety of quantitative analytical tools to test assumptions and sensitivities)
·Write and update investment memorandums and presentations for our board, investors or banks; participate in investment committee discussions
·Perform detailed underwriting and transaction management activities under senior guidance
·Work closely with internal development team on planning, feasibility studies and development monitoring and coordinate with various internal and external teams to ensure on-time execution and delivery
·Support with debt and equity investor interactions
·Participate in deal origination and ongoing pipeline management

Skills & Requirements
·1-3 years of work experience in investment banking, real estate investing, or advisory with a real estate focus
·Undergraduate degree
·Excellent financial modelling, research, quantitative and analytical skills are essential
·Good presentation skills
·Strong interpersonal and communication (written as well as verbal)
·Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise work within tight timescales
·Good team player who is solution-driven and has strong attention to detail
