Residential Learning Disability Support Workers required for full time for a permanent position in West London

About the job:
The clients you will be supporting can display challenging behaviour so you must be experienced in providing care and support to individuals with Learning Difficulties. It would be beneficial if you have a good level of Learning Disability awareness and/or experience of managing Epilepsy.

We have permanent roles available for reliable support workers who are passionate about delivering quality care and who want to work for care & support organisations who are professional and supportive in their approach.

Job Role:
Typical duties will include supporting residents with day to day activities such as dressing, assisting with personal care, preparation of food, shopping, accompanying to appointments and within the community, encouraging independence where possible and aiming to develop and build key life skills.

Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided. Candidates that have no previous experience in the care industry would be considered, however all candidates put forward must have a desire to work within the care industry.

Please Note:
* You must be FULLY flexible and be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends
* Experience within Learning disabilities for adults
* You must hold a valid DBS in the last 12 months or must be happy to do a new one
* Personal care is a MUST
