Quality Manager (Assurance) - Offender Learning
Teaching or supporting education delivery in prisons is an incredibly rewarding challenge with the benefits of mainstream education.
Weston College is the regional provider for OLASS 4 prison education delivery across the South West of England and is now seeking to recruit an outstanding Quality Manager (Assurance) working within our successful Offender Learning contract.
In this role you will have an opportunity to develop robust mechanisms and processes to guarantee the standard of provision is outstanding.
You will be responsible for developing, coordinating and reporting on processes which measure and monitor standards across delivery within the OLASS provisions, with particular reference to the self-assessment process and quality monitoring visits. You will report to the Quality and Resource Director, and work closely with OLASS and Curriculum Managers.
You will provide leadership working positively with Awarding Bodies, Weston College and OLASS managers and staff to ensure that a culture of best practice is implemented in all establishments, maximising timely achievements and certification for learners.
The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher. Experience in the prison environment or within a range of educational settings would be beneficial.
This position will require the successful candidate to travel to all prisons across the Weston College group and work in partnership with a range of individuals and organisations, building positive relationships to support our learners.
