Fine Memorials is an independent, family-run business with 6 branches covering the whole of the South West. We specialise in producing high-quality memorials and pride ourselves on our excellent customer service.

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic, professional person for a unique design role. The successful candidate will be preparing artwork for customer approval, making amendments and transferring designs onto rubber stencils. This position requires a creative person able to demonstrate an eye for detail. Due to the nature of the business, this will be a varied role and full training will be provided, however experience with the Adobe Suite would be advantageous.


· Creating scaled drawings for customer approval
· Liaising with customers to make necessary changes
· Answering the telephone
· Handling customer enquiries both in person and on the phone
· Producing order paperwork
· Filling in memorial application forms
· General office administration tasks
· Taking card payments
· Creating adverts and updating the website


· GCSE’s A-C in Maths and English
· Qualified in Art and/or Design (A-level or equivalent)
· Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Good oral, written communication, creative and computer literate
· Professional telephone manner
· Good spelling and grammar
· Ability to use Adobe Photoshop would be an advantage
· Knowledge of Signlab software desirable but not essential
· Sympathetic and compassionate nature
· Ability to work well as part of a team
