Sales Executive

Location: Hatfield

Salary: £ 25,000 basic ( OTE of £ 40,000 )

Hours: 8.30am to 4.30pm

Monday to Friday (No Weekends)

20 days per annum plus Bank Holidays

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the client is looking for a high-performing Sales Executive to meet their customer expectations and exceed revenue growth targets by keeping their company competitive and innovative in a fast-moving environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and implementation of strategic business plans that expands the company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence in the Electric Vehicle Charging market.

Requirements:

· Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively internally and externally

· Have a proven ability to drive the sales process from enquiry through to closing. Achieving sales targets and key performance indicators

· Can follow up on all leads in-order to produce a quotation for all relevant enquiries within agreed timeframes

· Performed cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing and potential customers to meet their needs

· Established, developed and maintained a positive business and customer relationships

· Able to effectively communicate with various contacts associated with each project; specifier, client, contractor, M&E Contractors etc.

· Managed correspondence with all decision makers at all crucial points of a project cycle

· Monitored customer accounts by managing the whole process from lead generation to order status

· Kept detailed records of sales targets using forecasting of live projects order dates

· Conducted various types of appointments; technical presentations, product discussion, specifications

· Clearly communicated with other departments to ensure a smooth handover for each order that is placed

· Has relevant industry experience with a strong business knowledge of our company market

· Actively built and promoted strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs

· Proactively found new sales leads via various platforms; social media, construction search engines etc.

· Identified emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

Key Role Requirements:

· Commercial – Strong commercial awareness and good numeric skills

· Communication & Written Skills – Ensure that both your communication and written skills are excellent, and that communication is on-going and effective

· Experience – At least two years’ experience working in a similar environment and role

· Full & Valid UK Driving Licence

· Initiative – The ability to work alone and take a lead when hurdles arise or when tasks require completion

· IT – Have good IT skills and be competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

· Planning – Have strong organisation and time management skills. Able to take the initiative to create, improve and/or implement sales processes and procedures to build a solid foundation for Customer Record Management

· Presentation – Be personable, presentable, articulate and professional

· Team Working – Fostering an environment of teamwork to ensure that all products and services are delivered on time, within budget and company goals are met

· Understanding – A reasonable understanding of Electrical Regulations and other legal guidelines such as Health & Safety
