CASA (Centre Admin Support Assistant) - City and Islington College
The Capital City College Group are looking for a Centre Admin Support Assistant who will be based at the Groups Westminster Kingsway College.
Reporting to the Operations Manager & Head of Faculty at the Soho Centre, you will work within the Adult Pathways Foundation Learning team.
The purpose of the role is to obtain, check and process information, service meetings, and act as the first point of contact for the Head of Faculty, other senior personnel within the College and other external stakeholders. In addition, the post-holder will determine work priorities without direct supervision and use tact and discretion in dealing with a variety of people face-to-face, by telephone and in writing.
The successful candidates will be educated to ‘A’ Level standard (or equivalent), will have previous experience in a relevant administrative post and possess excellent administrative and IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with dedicated databases. A flexible approach to work is required, along with the ability to work longer hours at short notice to achieve deadlines. Experience of working in an educational institution is desirable.
