Document Controller - United Kingdom
Document Controller required to join a large high profile rail&civil engineering contractor on a perm basis!You will be based in South London working across multi-million pound projects with a chance to develop and grow within the business to manage different project within the UK!Salary varies between £25,000-£32,000 + package dependant on experience NO EDMS SYSTEM EXPERIENCE REQUIREDBenefits: Opportunity to work on one of fastest devloping contractors in the UK Long term contract which could open up new opportunitiesArea that is continually developing and becomming one of the places to be in!Responsibilities:Archiving of site documentation recording and numbering appropriately to ensure everything is traceableLiaising with engineers on site and other contractors and assist in production and approval of project collaboration protocols documentsManaging RFI's, method statemens, documents and O&M manuals for each site and uploading to relevent document control systemApply for permits and licences where applicableQuality checking of documents to ensure they meet client and company standardsManaging and administrating the document collaboration systemCreating, formatting and updating documents using Microsoft packagesManage and maintain the site induction registerAssist the project management team with the issue, receipt and tracking of all engineering and supplier deliverables through to close out and handover stageEstablishment and maintenance of central site files, drawings and registersSuccessful candidates must have:Previous experience working on site or in a project officeExcellent communication skillsStrong IT skills in MS Office including Outlook, Excel, WordThe ability to multitaskGood attention to detailIt is essential that candidates have a strong site administration and construction background to be shortlisted for the role as limited training is provided and you will need to hit the ground running.
