Hourly Paid Lecturer in Welding
The School of Engineering is looking for an Hourly Paid Lecturer who can use their industry knowledge to help our budding Welders excel in the workshop and classroom.
An opportunity has arisen for a proactive and experienced individual to join our welding team.
Knowledge of the industry and the ability to prepare our students for the world of work is essential. The successful candidate will be teaching students on full-time and part-time courses at Levels 1-2.
As well as the relevant experience, we are looking for someone with an enthusiasm for helping people of all ages and abilities to achieve their potential.
The right individual needs to be flexible in their approach and willing to maintain an up-to-date understanding of developments within the welding industry, including legislation.
If you have teaching experience, great, but if you are willing to complete teacher training and are already experienced in welding we would love to hear from you too.
This post is based at our industry specific facility in Kings Langley. This is a fixed term position starting in August 2018 initially until 31 July 2019 when it will be reviewed in line with course enrolments.
