Our client is a fast-paced electronics manufacturer and distributor. They currently require a Sales Executive to join their existing team with a view of providing a professional sales service to new and existing customers.
Your role is to liaise with other consumer electronics manufacturers in the UK, Europe and China to ascertain whether they have end of line stock or stock that has not been sold. You will then be responsible for liaising with any number of distributors, retail outlets online portals to ascertain their interest in the stock and structure a deal that suits all parties. In effect you are the middleman helping manufacturers reduces their losses while others can turn a small profit.
Successful applicants should be able to demonstrate:
- Experience of consumer electronics / reseller market / IT distribution.
- Understanding of business processes.
- Experience of managing complex accounts.
- Understanding how to prospect and win new business.
- Ability to take control and ownership of client accounts.
In return a basic salary of 20k-25k is provided (depending upon experience) plus a realistic bonus scheme of an additional 25k per annum for hitting targets and achieving margins. There is also a work place pension, private healthcare and onsite parking.
