£40,000 - £44,000 depending on experience

Compass Associates are proud to work with one of the country's leading private providers of mental health services to recruit a Clinical or Forensic Psychologist to be based across two of their mental health rehabilitation sites. Both sites provide specialist services for adults with learning disabilities and their associated complex mental health/psychological needs. This is a role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Your working week will be split between two sites; one all female and one all male, which are located within 20 miles of each other. You will work with service users to improve their mental health and psychological wellbeing which will enable them to increase their social independence. Your daily duties will involve the interpretation of data formulated from psychological and neuropsychological tests, structured observations and semi-structured interviews. You will work as an autonomous professional as well as alongside other psychological and non-psychological members of the MDT.

The Candidate
The successful candidate will have:

HCPC registration
A Doctorate in Clinical or Forensic Psychology
Worked in an adult learning disabilities setting
Psychological therapy and risk assessment experience
Up to date knowledge of relevant psychological models

Interview process
This will be a one stage interview with the Hospital Director and Head of Psychology.
