Health and Social Care Teachers
Lewisham Southwark College is seeking to recruit talented and enthusiastic Health and Social Care Teachers to join our vibrant Health and Care Department during this stimulating time of change. The part-time position will be delivering the childcare study programmes.
We are looking for an engaging and innovative teacher who will inspire our learners to achieve. In addition to having the skills of an innovative teacher, you will be expected to tutor and manage a study programme group which will involve teaching in the evening.
The successful candidate will be required to work with 16-18-year-old learners on study programmes and adult learners. and will teach courses across levels E3 to level 3 delivering health and social care programmes and Access to higher education provision.
For one of the post, the successful candidate will, in addition, be required to work on the Foundation degree in health and social care or Childcare so must have the relevant educational qualifications and experience.
You must have relevant industry experience and sound literacy, numeracy and ICT skills. Interested individuals must also possess a teaching qualification or should currently be working towards achieving a teaching qualification. A level 7 qualification in a related field is essential to teach on the Foundation degree.
