Job Title: Clinical Services Manager - Theatre

Key Details: I am recruiting for a Clinical Services Manager to join an Industry leading Private Hospital located in North Yorkshire. You will join a multidisciplinary and expanding team to lead the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of the individual and wider community.

The Key details are -

Location: Yorkshire - within easy access via Train, Bus and car with car park

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum / £23.07 - £25.64 per hour based on 37.5 hours per week. (Negotiable DOE)

Bonus: Annual bonus provided.

Hours: Full Time - 37.5

Contract Type: Permanent

Further Details about the role: I am looking to recruit a Clinical Services Manager to join a Theatre team within a Private Hospital located in North Yorkshire. You will be required to lead a team in demonstrating compassion through effective relationships based on empathy, respect and dignity. Develop own competence to deliver effective care and treatments through improving clinical/technical knowledge / skill and expertise. You must be able to communicate appropriately with others involved in the care of the patient. As the Clinical Service Manager of Theatres, you will act as an advocate for safeguarding patients; demonstrate courage to speak up when there are concerns about care. Demonstrate commitment to improving care and the patient experience. You will be required to provide maintenance of professional, cost-effective theatre service including financial management and business planning. You will lead the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of the individual and wider community.

Person Specification: I am looking for the successful applicant for this Clinical Services Manager position in Theatres to confident, proactive and demonstrate a desire to improve on their existing skill base to add value to the department. It is a must to be a registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration, along with significant clinical experience within the theatre environment. Strong organisational and planning skills including risk management and managing people. Previous management experience as a senior level is a must. You must be able to show evidence of relevant professional development, both clinically and managerially. Experience within an acute nursing care is desirable. Education must be degree educated or equivalent. Up to date knowledge in area of practice. Awareness of NMC code accountability. Knowledge of appropriate standards and external bodies, such as the CQC.
