Curriculum Manager in Modern Foreign Languages and Community Interpreting

The College is seeking to appoint a Curriculum Manager for our new programmes in Modern Foreign Languages and Community Interpreting.
The School of Skills for Life is one of the largest in the college, with over 2,000 learners on a range of programmes and we are seeking to expand the scope of school to include Modern Foreign Languages, initially from beginner level to Entry Level 3, and Community Interpreting from Level 1 to Level 4.
Experience of delivery on Community Interpreting programmes, or Modern Foreign Language courses in one or more of the following languages, is essential:
French, German, Greek, Italian, Spanish, Turkish
You should be experienced with a track record of assisting learners to high levels of success. You should hold a teaching qualification and a relevant qualification in the language(s) of your specialism, or in Community Interpreting. Experience of supporting or preparing learners for external assessments with a recognised awarding body is essential.
This is an area of growth and development for the college and so we are looking for a dynamic individual with the ability to work on their own initiative and be flexible and responsive to change. The post is offered fixed term initially whilst the new courses are established, with a view to creating a permanent post if the growth of the provision is successful.
Full Time - Fixed term (01/08/2018 to 31/07/2019)
