We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced B2B marketing professional to really own and develop a role for themselves within our unique employee owned culture. We are looking for a flexible and energetic self-starter to work closely with the Senior Management Team and be responsible for promoting our brand and growing incoming leads to the business.

Example tasks and activities

  • Work alongside the Business Development Director to develop a brand strategy around the organisation’s intended growth plans, taking into consideration the industry and competitor activity and explicitly looking at customer retention, growth and acquisition targets
  • Work closely with the Business Development Director to drive quality leads across each of our key markets through the creation of timely and relevant marketing content for multiple channels
  • Build out a robust content strategy and communicate this efficiently to both internal and external audiences
  • Develop and promote the use of content to support company and consultant networking, particularly Linkedin
  • Work with key senior stakeholders across the business to generate marketing collateral, blogs, news pieces and ideas
  • Creation of thought leadership on behalf of the directors for acquisition, retention and brand awareness
  • Website and digital strategy and management – updating and maintaining our website
  • Day-to-day management of social media channels
  • Work with our digital agency to manage PPC and SEO accounts and delivery in combination with paid social activity, in order to drive organic and paid search traffic to our site
  • Email campaign management across acquisition and retention programmes – build out, own and manage related databases in line with current industry data protection legislation and regulations. Report on activity and success in order to continually improve communications
  • Creation of client case studies/testimonials/award entries
  • Analyse strategic partner relations for marketing purposes
  • Highlight PR opportunities and strategies to meet marketing objectives and support company strategy
  • Source and manage suitable suppliers, liaise with them for the production of required marketing communication requirements
  • Brand ambassador – representing the company at networking events
  • Report monthly on marketing activities to the whole company

Experience needed

  • 5 years+ B2B marketing experience
  • Proven track record and experience of running successful marketing campaigns
  • Experience at working on your own and in a team, generating marketing collateral, reports and whitepapers
  • Experience of managing and updating WP sites and email management systems
  • Experience of working with senior stakeholders and management teams
