An experienced Secretary is sought by an award-winning law firm to support their Commercial Litigation team based in Leamington Spa. The firm has been providing advice to their business and individual clients for nearly two centuries across a diverse range of sectors.

The role will be working 22.5 hours a week on Monday, Wednesday & Friday either, 9am - 5.30pm, 10am - 6pm or 10.30am - 6.30pm.

The Role:

As a Secretary you will join the Commercial Litigation team, providing general administrative support within a busy team of fee earners. Your day to day duties will include:

- Take phone calls on behalf on the team, dealing with enquiries and where a referral is needed, endure a comprehensive email is provided.
- Undertake audio typing and copy typing of client correspondence/forms/documentation when required.
- Produce draft letters and emails to send clients and external organisations.
- Document management including photocopying, scanning, faxing, collating and binding.
- Produce invoices and other accounting forms.
- Liaise with accounts to answer any client account queries.
- General secretarial duties such as booking appointments, rooms and pool cars etc.
- Work alongside Compliance in carrying out searches and background checks on prospective clients.
- Filing, both paper and electronic.
- Liaise with clients and external organisations over the telephone when required. Take and convey messages.

The successful Secretary will demonstrate:

- Administration experience within a professional office environment.

- Preferably have secretarial/audio typing skills within a legal environment.
- Have strong oral and written communication skills.
- Have proficient IT skills and the ability to learn how to use new systems and technology quickly.
- Have an eye for detail, produce accurate work.
- Be highly organised and professional.
- Be motivated and enthusiastic with a positive `can do` attitude, remaining calm when under pressure.
- Someone who thrives on working in a team and takes a proactive approach to their work.
