You will need to be self-motivated and be a real team player. We provide training on all aspects on the job all we ask from you is the desire to learn and be part of a focused team. Previous experience in conference and events operations is essential.
As Assistant Conference and Banqueting Manager you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with setting up and running all events
- Assisting with staffing and rota
- Stock control
- Stock take
- Completing timesheets
- Managing Labour, costs, sales, invoicing
We provide award winning catering to all visitors and guests, from a simple local Ice cream to fish and chips, freshly made sandwiches to banquets fit for royalty we provide it all. This is no easy role, but nothing good in life is easy - About the job:
Weekends and late nights are all part of this role. You must be willing and able to work mostly one weekend day in Summer and throughout the year. Reporting directly to the C&E Manager
Own transport will be essential due to late finishing times & location of the venue.
You will gain excellent skills in this role – Time management, People management, Wedding coordination, Up-selling, Bar management, Food Safety, Alcohol service.
There are excellent training opportunities as well as opportunities to work at other venues for experience – O2, Twickernam, Brit Awards and even Wimbledon
