Fantastic opportunity to join a lovely independent business who are thriving in Canterbury. The PART TIME Accounts Assistant is a great role as it encompasses both Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, responsibility for the bank and full ownership of the processes. It is a part time role, a rare opportunity to pick the hours that suit you!

Detailed duties include;

• Purchase Ledger invoice processing, ensuring invoices are received, approved and processed
• Supplier statement reconciliation
• Dealing with suppliers and resolving queries
• All month end tasks in relation to purchase ledger and also being the point of contact for the Auditors
• Sales Ledger invoice processing
• Allocating payments
• Relationship management with customers with regards to their transactions
• Ensure payments are processed accurately and in a timely fashion
• Bank statement reconciliation

In order to apply for the Accounts Assistant role, candidates must be able to demonstrate a strong background in a similar role be accurate, have a keen eye for detail, be a confident communicator and enjoy working as a team. Strong Excel skills are also a prerequisite of the role. This is a successful organisation that supports their employees to reach their full potential.

There are no set hours so whether its 2.5 days or 4-5 hours per day, its for the post holder to decide. It is anticipated there is a need for c20 hours per week
