Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to develop and shape your own service area?

If so, we would love to hear from you. We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and driven professional to work alongside an established team.

This team is about to enter a further phase of development in expanding and improving outcomes for improving outcomes for older adults to become more independent following a period of trauma.

As the new team manager you will be expected to join and lead the reablement services across Broxtowe, Gedling and Rushcliffe older adult social care.

If you have a strong interest and background in managing and developing teams and change?

Are you interested in the opportunity of working with a team of project officers who will support you along with your line manager in developing an excellent service.

We are looking at new and improved training programmes for a wide range of staff, who will be setting reablement goals.

You will be assisted by an OT senior practitioner in managing a team of social workers, occupational therapists and community care officers.

The ideal candidate, will be enthusiastic and resilient. You will have a good understanding of the Care Act, Mental Capacity and Direct Payments as well Adult Social Care legislation generally, the philosophy and practices of reablement services, safeguarding and an understanding of Nottinghamshire’s Adult Care Strategy.
