National Account Manager (Convenience/Wholesale/ Horeca)

Salary: 40K – 45K + Car allowance + bonus

Location: Homebased but with easy commute to London

Ref: LSA18031

We are working with a growing company who offer full sales, marketing and distributing service for FMCG products whilst also developing their own range of healthy products. They are now keen to speak to candidates who would thrive in the challenge of creating and managing the Wholesale and convenience sector. This is a great opportunity for someone who is ideally looking to move to a company where you will have the chance to progress.

As the National Account Manager you would be responsible for managing and growing the relationships within the existing customer base whilst proactively identifying, approaching and developing new customers in the convenience and independent sectors.

Other responsibility will include:

· Developing and implementing strategies to develop both the Wholesale, Convenience and Horeca sectors

· Building and maintain strong working relationships with Buyers and other decision makers

· Full P&L responsibility

· Budget Management

· Developing, implementing and reviewing joint business plans

· NPD, pricing, merchandising and plannograms

· Promotions

· Forecasting

To be considered for this National Account Manager you will have the following skills and experience:

· Have a track record for building relationships across the accounts which will include speaking to Buyers in wholesalers (Brakes, Bidvest), Convenience (forecourts, symbol groups) as well as developing the Horeca accounts

· Worked within a similar role where you have a successfully developed new business

· Strong communication and presentation experience

· Excellent negotiating skills at senior level

· Organised person who is able to manage their time effectively

· A proactive and self starter who thrives in a role where you can make a difference
