We aim to secure the future of general practice in London through our work with all partners in the health and social care sector and beyond. Londonwide LMCs supports and represents over 7,000 GPs and over 1,300 practices in London through our 27 locally elected committees.
We are a stable part of the NHS landscape. We are recognised in statute and provide independent advice, guidance and support on a range of issues that affect general practice. We remain the only independent, elected, representative body for local GPs.

This post will be based within the Business Resources Team, so you will work for both the Head of Business Resources and for the Head of Communications and ICT to provide business administration, Data and ICT support for the organisation.
In this role, you will work closely with members of the Business Resources Team and members of the Communications, Media and Marketing Team.
As the role develops, there may be opportunities to learn more about database development and for using different communication software.
Responsibilities and duties
Provide general administrative services including:Providing telephone cover, answering and directing calls Reception cover (greeting visitors, dealing with deliveries) Handling the daily internal post (collection and despatch) Printing and despatching Committee agendas Assisting with the electronic document management system Daily check of office supplies including: coffee machines, printer and shredder Preparation of meeting rooms including: assisting setting up tables, chairs and equipment Other duties as appropriate
Assist in providing support to colleagues across the organisation on:Assist with data audits and on-going data validation projects Assist the Database and Reporting Officer checking and analysing daily reports
Assist in providing support to colleagues across the organisation on:a) Laptop and PC issues working with the Head of Communications and ICT to resolve issues and advise users b) Provide support and updates for over 30 company mobile devices, including mobile phones, laptops, and tablets Support the Head of Communications and ICT by adding and checking content the content of websites using a management system (CMS) tool
Desired skills and qualitiesAttention to detail IT literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and other leading IT applications Demonstrate a willingness to learn other software packages/solutions as identified Polite, helpful and professional manner Good problems solving skills
3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject, plus GCSE English and Maths (or equivalents) at grade D or above
£13,650 per annum
