We are looking for a highly motivated, professional lecturer in Digital Media / Digital Technologies, to join our dynamic team in the Creative & Digital Technologies section at Sussex Downs College in Lewes.

The successful applicant will ideally have a current teaching qualification, or will be willing to work towards one.

This wide-ranging role involves teaching across a wide range of creative and technical courses in both FE and HE, from Level 3 to Level 6.

On our Digital Media Design Degree, you will be involved in both practical and academic teaching. The practical work encompasses design for print and screen, animation and motion graphics, responsive web design, working with clients and industry. The successful applicant would be responsible for the planning and delivery of various modules to all 3 year groups of the degree course.

Duties on our L3 courses include working within the teaching team to organise the planning for delivery and assessment, working with external clients and other duties inherent in the delivery of our Application & Web Development and Software & Games Development courses.

We are looking for someone who has a high degree of current technical skills across the whole Adobe CC suite with skills and experience in 2D and 3D animation and with a good understanding of design principles.

We are very interested in experience and knowledge of App & Web development and skills in HTML, CSS and programming languages. Experience of current Project Management methodologies is desirable.
