Are you a qualified social worker looking for a new locum contract? Or even between jobs and looking to make use of your valuable experience before moving onto your next position?

Aurora are looking for a confident and experienced childrens social worker to join a stable and supportive children and families team in the North East Hampshire area.

The team currently have a vacancy and are recruiting to the position. In the meantime they need a locum to take on a 3-6 month contract until the position is filled. This position is based in Alton.

You will be part of the children and families team and within this team you will be responsible for a mixed caseload of CP/LAC and CIN. The case loads are controlled and low giving you that precious time to build your relationships with service users and able to manage your own time and put a lot of quality into your work.

The team is very well managed by long standing team managers that have excellent relationships with their social workers and you will be offered the same support and guidance.

The position offers an excellent rate between £28 - £31 an hour and mileage of 45p a mile for your journeys made to service users.

In order to be eligible for the role you must be:

· A UK registered social worker

· Have previous experience within Frontline Childrens service

· Have access to a vehicle for some travel around the area

· Be motivated, punctual and able to organise own workload.
