Full Time Assistant Psychologist – Uplands, Fareham - £25,000 per

Uplands Independent Hospital is a Rehabilitation and Recovery service
which is situated in Fareham where our multidisciplinary team offer
high quality recovery focused care to adults with a range of mental
health needs.

We are currently undergoing a £1.1m redevelopment of our Independent
Hospital, to provide our Service Users a continuous pathway from Acute
Mental Health admissions right through to, in many cases, independent

We are seeking to recruit a passionate Assistant Psychologist to join
our rehabilitation and recovery hospital in Fareham, who shares our
vision for high quality Mental Health recovery services and who want
to make a difference.

This is a full –time position working 37.5hrs a week. The salary is
£25k per annum.

The successful candidate will be required to provide psychological
assessment and evidence based psychological treatment for people
presenting with moderate to severe mental health difficulties.
Knowledge and familiarity with psychometric assessment is required.
You must be able to deliver a high quality person centred recovery
approach in line with CareTech Community Services Personalisation
Strategy and Uplands Independent Hospital Service Improvement Plan.

You will act as a keyworker, assess, plan, implement and evaluate care
planning & risk assessment/risk management safety plans on a monthly
basis with residents on admission and at appropriate intervals,
providing support to residents with daily living, following support
plans and working within the Recovery Model.

You will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team in a hospital
setting, ensuring the delivery of holistic, recovery care to all
