Estates Administration Manager
About the role
Sense has an exciting opportunity for an Estates Administration Manager to join the Estates Team on permanent basis. This is a full time position, working 37.5 hours per week in Crayford, Kent.
The post holder will be responsible for developing, maintaining and continuously improving systems and processes to manage the key functions of the Estates Team. This includes managing and maintaining a repairs helpdesk, and administration of the Estates database and management software for all compliance and property related matters to Sense’s varied National portfolio, in accordance with Sense’s policy and the principles of professional building management.
Reporting to Sense’s Head of Estates, this role would suit someone who has previous experience of managing a team of estates administrators and providing support to field based regional surveyors. You will need to support and contribute to Estates Team projects such as building acquisition, disposal, capital projects, compliance and health & safety. You will also need the ability to make proactive decisions within Sense policies and procedures.
We would like to hear from you if you have proven experience of working in a mixed estate environment with help desk responsibility for both reactive and planned maintenance along with estates software management, preferably in the charity and social care sector.
The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and an open and flexible approach. You will have the ability to deliver and maintain a strong customer focused approach and to promote a positive & professional image of the Estates Team in the delivery of maintenance and compliance services. You must be assertive and have the ability to communicate effectively and be extremely organised. You will be a team player, and be able handle a fast moving, varied work flow effectively.
