We are recruiting a Secondary Science Teacher!

Are you a Science Teacher that can deliver confident and meaningful lessons?

This is an exciting opportunity that has recently become available within a mixed comprehensive secondary school located in Godalming for a science teacher to start in September. A client of mine is looking for a Science Teacher who genuinely cares about the student's education and someone that believes that they could make a real difference in the science department.

The School is a well-known and highly regarded special needs school in Surrey, which has achieved Autism Accreditation. The school caters for up to 110 pupils and Sixth Form students between the ages of 7 – 19, who have a range of academic abilities and complex special needs.

The School has an in-house team of qualified therapists offering Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Sensory Integration.

The role will be based in a class of 5 students and will involve both one-to-one and group work with the pupils. The pupils in the class all have Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and the majority are on the Autistic spectrum (ASC). The pupils are physically active and may show some challenging behaviour.

Essential for the role:

* Relevant Degree.
* PGCE, GTP, SCITT (teacher training certificate).
* Qualified Teacher Status.
* Able to teach Science to GCSE

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
